Felix Carrion, who will be our keynote speaker at the upcoming Joint Cooperative Worship this summer was pastor of Euclid before being called as national director of the United Church of Christ Still Speaking Ministry. Thanks be to God, no one was injured in this fire. Please pray for this vital ministry in downtown Cleveland.

Sharing America’s Resources Abroad (SARA) is a non-profit organization, incorporated in Ohio.
SARA is an ecumenical ministry affiliated with the Ohio Conference of the United Church of Christ. As a Christian ministry SARAH offers medical assistance to improve lives around the world. SARAH for a number of years provided help to children and those who care for them in the Ukraine. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 and Ukraine’s independence, the country experienced a severe economic decline. Medical and health care in particular are extremely limited the area on which SARA focuses its efforts. SARA provides equipment, supplies and training for Ukrainian doctors and health care through SARA-related professionals. SARA also provides means for Ukrainians who do not have them to acquire the most basic components of health-nourishing food, safe shelter, hygiene and sanitary services. SARA has also been asked to help Ukrainian students to learn English, so volunteers have traveled to schools to give students the chance to talk and listen to native English speakers.
We seek used medical equipment from U.S. hospitals and physicians that are replacing their older equipment with new equipment and we work with other ecumenical ministries that rehabilitate into usable equipment for developing nations.
The purpose of the Geauga County Cooperative Ministry shall be to promote and facilitate activities, programs of fellowship, outreach, and spiritual growth among the Geauga county United Church of Christ and Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) as well as the larger church community. We seek to witness to the Gospel through a variety of ministries, using our combined efforts to achieve more than would be possible as individual congregations.
